The Danubia-Adria Symposium on Advances in Experimental Mechanics (DAS 2011) is aimed at providing a forum for engineers, researchers, university teachers and students, scientists and industrial experts to present and discuss the current status and impact of modern technology and development in the field of experimental methods in mechanics.

Focus will be on recent research and development of experimental and hybrid methods for quality enhancing of structures, service life, and

technical safety.

Call for papers, Presentations

Contributions describing current work in all areas of experimental research are invited.

Topics of particular interest include:

- conventional and advanced experimental methods in solid mechanics,

- measuring acquisition and data processing,

- relations between experimental methods and numerical simulation,

- experimental and applied biomechanics,

- fatigue and reliability,

- applications.

Authors intending to present a paper are requested to submit an extended abstract in English of no more than two, typewritten (A/4) pages including tables and figures. The layout and typing guidelines are available for download on the symposium’s website.
