"On Sunday, April 1, 2007, the capital will get to experience Germany’s largest and fastest half marathon.
Over 20,000 participants will start off the season at the 27th Vattenfall Berlin Half Marathon. The Brandenburg Gate, Victory Column (Siegessäule), Charlottenburg Palace, Ku-Damm, and Potsdamer Platz are just a few of the many highlights along the attractive course. The very flat course is ideal for breaking the best half marathon time. Last year, Paul Kosgei from Kenya just missed the half marathon world record by all of twelve seconds.
Experience a fascinating weekend in Berlin. Take advantage of all that is offered at the BERLIN VITAL Expo and celebrate yourself and the rest of the marathon runners in the evening at the post-race party.
We wish you a fantastic and successful run through the streets of Berlin at the 27th Vattenfall Berlin Half Marathon."
