27th Annual Toronto Island Run September 9, 2007

Longboat Roadrunners is proud to present this high quality event for the running community. This is the 27th anniversary of this unique Toronto tradition. Come celebrate with us and enjoy the family atmosphere.

At 12 o'clock, Monday, April 15, 1907 in Ashland (yes, Ashland) 19 year old Tom Longboat lined up with 122 other runners on the starting line of the Boston Marathon. He went on to win the race setting a new course record of 2:24:24. 100 years later Longboat Roadrunners celebrate his accomplishment.
