Wine lovers from all around will once again gather in the Alamo city for the event that has been enjoyed by thousands for the past 26 years. The San Antonio Express News Wine Festival is much more than just a tasting as it involves champagne, fine cuisine as well as wonderful wine. What once was an afternoon event has turned into a weekend long celebration. All proceeds from the festival benefit KLRN Public Television.

Only the Alamodome is a large enough venue to accommodate the nearly 3,800 participants who will sample the hundreds of domestic and imported wines at the annual Fine Wine and Cuisine Tasting - the heart of the wine festival.

Connoisseurs will also savor creations from more than three-dozen of San Antonio’s finest restaurants and caterers at this event, known as the “Granddaddy of All Wine Tastings.”
