Each year, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Gate Chapter marks a special day in November to celebrate the spirit of giving. On this day, more than 750 people will join together at an awards luncheon ceremony to publicly recognize individuals and institutions throughout northern California whose exemplary contributions to philanthropy advance the common good.

AFP will present the following awards to leading non-profit volunteers, philanthropists and institutions whose giving to the community inspires us all.

The event will start at 10 a.m. with a Philanthropy Forum titled, "Not Your Parent's Philanthropy: Next Gen Engagement, Impact Metrics and Use of Technology."
Moderated by Nadine Burke Harris, MD, the pre-luncheon Philanthropy Forum will feature a distinguished group of panelists: Daniel Lurie, CEO and founder of Tipping Point Community, Lesley Mansford, CEO, Razoo, Kiki Mills Johnston, CEO, Full Circle Fund and others to be announced. The panelists will discuss their philosophy of giving, how to measure impact, uses of technology and offer insights to those seeking support. Q & A will follow.
