25th Annual Red Cross Book Fair October 1, 2008

The 25th Annual American Red Cross Book Fair will be held on October 2-7, 2008 at the Monroe County Fairgrounds, Commercial Building West. There will be between 80,000-100,000 gently used books, CDs, videos, DVDs, cassettes, records, games, puzzles, maps, sheet music, and many other items for sale at very reasonable prices. New this year is a large Clearance section for true bargain hunters and a concessions area inside the building. Opening night admission is $10, but the rest of the week's attendance is free. All proceeds from the Book Fair will benefit disaster relief, service to military families, and emergency preparedness services in Monroe and Owen Counties.
