24 Hour International Peace Day Vigil September 21, 2006

The Peace Vigil will begin at 12 AM Sept. 21 when all are invited to join thousands of others around
the world to observe the International Day of Peace which began in 2001 (http://www.idpvigil.com/)
by the United Nations. People are invited to come together to practice walking in peace on outdoor
labyrinths. Written information guides will be available at the labyrinths. There are two scheduled times
when there will be candlelight, singing, and poetry readings: 9 PM downtown and 7 PM at Green Wood.
