Festival highlights:
*Amazing varieties of locally grown Heirloom tomatoes from Tenbrink Farms will be featured in Tomato Alley. There will be a rainbow of tomatoes with names such as Russian Black, Boxcar Willy, Pink Girl and Green Zebra. Visitors can enjoy free samples in Tomato Alley on the lawn area at Jefferson and Texas Streets.

*Back by popular demand is the Food and Wine Pairing at the Solano County Events Center. This separate event requires tickets, which are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. A portion of proceeds will benefit Child Haven. Enjoy tastings from local chefs and wineries.

*The ever-popular Tomato Eating contests are open to everyone at the stage at Texas and Jackson Streets. If you're not up for stuffing your face full of tomatoes, come and watch the fun on both Saturday and Sunday at noon.

*Two recipe contests are scheduled. Submit your entry for best Salsa on Saturday or best Blood Mary on Sunday. $10.00 entry fee will contribute to the cash prize awards.

*Farmers Market will feature Tenbrink Farms Heirloom tomatoes for purchase.

*A wide variety of live music and entertainment takes place throughout the festival. Enjoy performances from Sapo Guapo, the Used Blues Band, Ruby Lane, Terry Sheets Band, Alive Music Orchestra, Charlie Wade Blues Band, Westbound 80, and Rocky & the Revellette's. Stop by and perform some Karaoke or even learn to scuba dive near Webster Street.

*The North Texas Street Business Association will host a concert with the Time Bandits on Saturday evening and a car show on Sunday. North Texas Street vendors will also be featured near Texas & Union Streets.

*Children's activities include amusement rides for all ages, water walking, pony rides, and craft activities.

*Booth space is almost full. Call the Fairfield Main Street Association office at 707-422-0103 for information. More than 75 vendors including delicious local foods, commercial, nonprofits, and artisans and crafters are participating.
