20th Annual Festival of Harps: A Celebration of World Harp Music October 3, 2009

Enjoy over 40 harpists from around the world at the Festival of Harps 20th Anniversary Celebration! This walk-through concert takes place at the magnificent Chapel of the Chimes, designed by Julia Morgan in a style evocative of gothic cathedrals. Each of the dozens of rooms and alcoves contains a location for a small intimate concert. The audience wanders, with a map, to find the harp music they wish to hear next - Celtic, Renaissance, African, Latin, Scandinavian, Asian, Medieval, Classical, Jazz, Modern, before moving on to hear the next acoustic treasure.
