Join the Northern California Innocence Project (NCIP) for its sixth annual Justice for All awards dinner on March 21 at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City. NCIP works to exonerate wrongfully convicted prisoners, educate future lawyers with hands-on experience, and reform the justice system to improve its fairness for everyone.

Attended by over 400 guests, the Justice for All dinner serves as NCIP's primary means of raising funds to continue its work, and offers attendees an opportunity to learn from the criminal system's failures, to stop wrongful convictions from occurring, and to honor those who have made efforts to better our justice system.

2012 honorees include:

Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen and Assistant District Attorney David Angel will receive the Justice Award for their leadership in pursuing truth and justice. The Santa Clara DA's office has focused on implementing criminal justice reforms to improve the integrity and accuracy of the system while reducing the risk of wrongful conviction.

Francisco "Franky" Carrillo, Jr. will receive the Freedom Award. Convicted at 16 based on mistaken eyewitness identification, Carrillo spent nearly 20 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. His conviction was reversed in 2011 after his legal team uncovered evidence of his innocence.

Stuart Feldman, director, writer and actor, will accept the Media Award on behalf of the cast and crew of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Feldman collaborated with Warren Leight to write the SVU episode "Justice Denied," which explores the devastating aftermath of a false confession.

Shearman & Sterling LLP will be awarded the Pro Bono Award for dedicating hundreds of pro bono hours and resources in their tenacious pursuit of justice on behalf of an innocent client.
