This new Wednesday night party is the nightlife equivalent of a New Age global flea market, with two DJs in two rooms spining an eclectic variety of obscure vintage, bargain bin classics, imported jams, retro-kitsch and other assorted bric-a-brac. Ancient traditions mingle with transient modern fashions, forgotten relics of the past become recontextualized for the present moment. Everything is priced to sell.
 
In the lounge: DJ $mall ?hange (WFMU, Rubulad), a record collector known for his wide spectrum of musical references. In the main dining room, DJ Joro Boro (Mehanata-Bulgarian Bar) will spin his unique blend of gypsy, punk and psychedelia. Liz LaBue performs the tarantella ritual (Southern Italian folk dance originating in the ecstatic rites of devotion to the god Dionysus).  Midnight live acoustic rock set by THE DOGS.
