4th ANNUAL VEGAS CINEFEST RETURNS OCTOBER 3-7
 
Premier Film Festival to be held at Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas
(September 8th, 2012 – Las Vegas, NV) – On October 3rd, The 4th annual Vegas CineFest (“VCF”) International Film Festival will kick off another year celebrating the arts in film and music. The festival will run between October 3rd through October 7th and will be held at Palms Casino Resort. This year, the festival will screen more than 145 films from around the world and will feature panels designed to educate independent filmmakers. In conjunction with the Festival, the Digital CineMart will be featured with opportunities for filmmakers to sell to distributors and film brokers.

Among notable attendees, Barry Bostwick’s new film “FDR American Badass” will premiere during the festival. Barry & Producer/Writer Ross Patterson will be at the festival for Red Carpet & Q&A sessions. Actress Erin Gray, Actor Gary Graham screening “Dreams Awake”. Teller from “Penn & Teller” is attending & screening his new film “Play Dead”.

On Saturday evening October 6th, “Fernanda Ulibarri”, British “Daniel Bedingfield” (Natasha’s brother) & LA based “Helicopter Rounds” will be performing live on stage during the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony Gala.

VCF will soon be announcing the 2012 “Lifetime Achievement in Filmmaking” award to an “A Lister” filmmaker.

Festival founders and Executive Directors, Philip and Maria Marcus state, “We’re thrilled to host the 2012 Vegas CineFest Film Festival at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.  We expect record participation this year, further solidifying Vegas Cinefest as the premier International Film Festival in Las Vegas”

In 2011, VCF honored prolific director, John Landis (“Blues Brothers,” “Animal House”). Also present were members of Hollywood’s leading families Jamie Redford and Noah Hutton who screened their two films at the festival.
