On Thursday, March 8, 2012, The National Committee on American Foreign Policy (www.ncafp.org) will host its annual 2012 Gala Awards Dinner at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York. This elegant and significant affair will honor Former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, The Honorable Karl W. Eikenberry and Chairman of the Board and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, Muhtar Kent. Scott Pelley, managing editor of the "CBS Evening News" and correspondent for "60 Minutes", will be leading the event as Master of Ceremonies.

The event underscores the important work that the National Committee does year-round to help advance American foreign policy interests through Track I ½ and Track II diplomacy. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the National Committee’s educational programs that address security challenges facing the United States.
