UNM Continuing Education is proud to announce a writers conference designed to give attendees exactly what they asked for. Learn what’s selling in today’s market; Meet agents wanting new clients; Pitch your novel or non-fiction book to an agent or editor. Learn from successful, multi-published writers. On Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 9am-4:30pm our 2010 Writers Conference From Start to Sale VI will start with keynote speaker Lois Duncan, who is the author of 50 books, five of which have been made into movies; I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hotel for Dogs were box office hits. After that there will be a brief Q & A with the three book editors, a top paying magazine editor, and three agents. All attendees who register before April 1st, can sign up for a one-on-one meeting with the editor or agent.
