The Jewish Federation of Sacramento continues tradition and presents the annual Jewish Heritage Festival.

Building on the success of "Salute to Israel," and last years inaugural Jewish Heritage Festival, the 2010 Jewish Heritage Festival will celebrate Jewish life around the world, from the shores of Ellis Island, through Europe, Africa, Latin America and the kibbutzim of Israel.

This free event will feature live music, traditional food, entertainment, dancing troupes, cultural exhibits and displays, family and children's activities, a special teen zone and more.

Headlining this years festival will be the one-of-a-kind sound of MATISYAHU. Known for blending traditional Jewish themes with Reggae, rock and hip hop sounds, Matisyahu's single "King Without a Crown" was a Top 40 hit. Since 2004, he has released three studio albums as well as one live album, two remix CDs and one DVD featuring a live concert.

Currently, you can find Matisyahu's 2009 single "One Day" as the official theme song for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Matis has earned critical acclaim from everyone in the music industry from Rolling Stone to the New York Times.

Join us for the 2010 Jewish Heritage Festival. Come for the cultural food and informative exhibits, stay for the FREE MATISYAHU concert! See you May, 2nd!
