2010 Houston International Boat, Sport & Travel Show January 7, 2010

The 2010 Houston International Boat, Sport & Travel Show, one of the largest in the country with more than 1,000 powerboats, luxury cruisers, ski boats, personal watercraft, campers and travel trailers, plus over 300 exhibits, will open its doors January 8-17 at Reliant Center.

The ten-day show, which attracts thousands of visitors, doubles as
Houston’s Biggest Boat Sale as most exhibitors will offer special pre-season savings and discounts at the show. However, the show is not just for those looking to buy a boat. Many attend looking to outfit the boat they already have. The show also features deals on a selection of campers, travel trailers, and RV accessories for the outdoor adventurer.

Besides more than sixteen acres of boats and campers, exhibitors will include outfitters from Alaska to Costa Rica, fishing guides and gear, the latest in marine electronics, skiing and wakeboarding accessories, art, clothing and more.

Still another popular attraction is the show’s Fish-O-Rama where kids of all ages can try their hand at reeling in a prize catch.
Show hours for the 2010 Houston International Boat, Sport & Travel

Show are Friday, January 8, 5 pm - 9 pm; Saturday, January 9, 10 am - 9 pm; Sunday, January 10, noon - 9 pm; Monday – Friday, January 11 - 15, 1 - 9 pm; Saturday, January 16, 10 am - 9 pm; and Sunday, January 17, noon - 6 pm.

Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for kids under 12. Children under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the Reliant Center ticket office or online at www.houstonboatshows.com.
