2009 Summer Intensives: Beyond Technique

Two High-Caliber Dance Programs For Male & Female Dancers Ages 10-24

The curriculum of the Maple Conservatory of Dance Summer Intensive Programs are founded on the highest standards of classical ballet technique. All ballet technique classes are taught by former members of major dance companies -- accomplished professionals in the field who have an innate understanding of what it takes to succeed in today's dance world.

We offer two, exciting 4-week summer programs uniquely designed for male & female dancers who seek a high-caliber, dance training program in a small class environment:

Advanced-Intermediate Intensive for ages 10-15 (June 29-July 25)

Professional Training Workshop for ages 15-24 (July 27-August 22)

Admission to our summer intensive programs is by audition only. Dancers may audition in-person at one of our audition classes:

Saturday, January 24, 2009
Sunday, February 15, 2009
Sunday, March 15, 2009

Ages 10 to 14: Registration 1pm–2pm, audition class 2pm–3:30pm
Ages 15 to 24: Registration 3pm–4pm, audition class 4pm–6pm

Audition Fee & Requirements: Audition fee is $25 payable by cash only. Dancers should bring two full-body photos: 1) first arabesque and 2) développé second position, wearing practice clothes and no skirts. Write the dancer's name, address and phone number on the back of both photos.
