2009 Night Owl Classic

The Night Owl Classic is a non-competitive bike ride along the Mississippi River at dusk. The ride will start and finishnear historic St. Anthony Main and tourthe Twin Cities beautiful riverfront district and well known landmarks.

The ride will be divided into to start times - the 8.5-mile Family Flight starting at 7:30PM and the 16.5 mile Hoot Loopwhich takes off at 9:00PM. Parkways will be closed for riders with the entire course re-opening to traffic at 11:00PM. River crossings such as Plymouth Avenue bridge, Franklin Avenue bridge and Ford Parkway will be shared with traffic but divided and controlledfor rider safety. Riders with children, families or less-experienced riders are encouraged to take the 8.5 mile ride. The 16.5 mile ride is for more experienced riders only. Helmets required for all participants.
