2009 Livestrong Ride Against Cancer June 7, 2009

Join us for a "Bike Ride to the Ball Park" to raise awareness and funds to support the work of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Register Today!
You have the option of a 44 mile, 22 mile or a 5 mile ride before the ball game.

Schedule of Events
Ride Date Sunday June 7th, 2009
Registration 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
44 mile ride - Start Time 8:00 a.m.
22 mile ride - Start Time 9:00 a.m.
Breakfast 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
5 mile ride - Start Time 11:00 a.m. ~ Please no early starts ~
Lap around IOWA CUBS field 11:45 a.m.
Picnic Lunch at Principal Park Noon
Pre-game & 1st pitch by Cancer Survivors 12:40 p.m.
IOWA CUBS game 1:05 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The 22 & 44 mile rides start and finish at Water Works Park just Southwest of downtown Des Moines. Then ride in mass to the ball game.

NEW THIS YEAR! Packet Pick-up Party at Boston's Gourmet Pizza. Join us for free pizza, beer & pop from 4-7pm on Friday June 5th. Pick up your packet & meet new friends all uniting for cancer!
And, the LIVESTRONG ride shirts will be an original design by
award winning cartoonist Brian Duffy! ALL THIS, AND ONLY $20
Your registration includes

* Official Yellow Livestrong Event T-shirt

* general admission ticket to the I-CUBS game
* Hot Dogs, Pop and Chips at Principal Park.
* Ride held regardless of weather
