Following a successful meeting in Lisbon in 2007 and the European Food Congress in Ljubljana, the 2009 EFFoST Conference will take place in Budapest, Hungary, 11-13 November 2009.



Organised in association with IUFoST, METI, KEKE, FISEC and EHEDG, this year’s meeting looks at food preservation, focussing on issues of processing, safety and sustainability.



As with previous EFFoST events, the programme will be comprised of lectures by invited renowned experts supplemented by extensive contributed poster sessions for which abstracts are now invited.

A Pre-Conference Day on 10 November 2009 will feature workshops from EHEDG, NovelQ and GHI plus additional project meetings to be announced.



Awards



Two awards will be presented at the conference – the Student of the Year Award and an Outstanding Achievement Award.
