The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a unique celebration of life in honor and in memory of those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Here is the schedule of events for the 2006 Relay For Life, sponsored by Wilkinson Clinic and the Oconomowoc Focus:

Friday, June 23, 2006
Noon: Campsite setup
4 to 6 p.m.: Team and survivor registration
4 p.m.: Relay begins!
4 to 8 p.m.: Food (by Lac La Belle Cooney Riders Snowmobile Club)
4 to 9 p.m.: Luminaria sales
4 to 9:30 p.m.: Raffle sales
4 to 10 p.m.: "Wall of Hope" signing
6 p.m.: Opening ceremony
6 p.m.: Oconomowoc Fire Department display
6 to 10 p.m.: DJ provided by Disc-o Gene Dudley
6:30 p.m.: "Cancer Sucks" lap
7 p.m.: Chinese raffle drawing
7:15 p.m.: "Boogie Shoes" lap
7:30 to 8 p.m.: "Dude Looks Like a Lady" contests
8 p.m.: Character/mascot walk
9 p.m.: Chinese raffle drawing
9:15 p.m.: "We Are Family" lap
9:30 p.m.: Fire Truck/luminaria ceremony drawing
10 p.m.: Luminaria ceremony
11 p.m.: "I Love the Nightlife" lap

Saturday, June 24
7:30 a.m.: Continental break­fast
8 to 10 a.m.: "Wall of Hope" signing
8 to 10 a.m.: DJ
8 to 10 a.m.: YMCA Kids Area
8:15 a.m.: "Staying Alive" lap
9 a.m.: Chinese raffle drawing
9 to 9:30 a.m.: Luminaria bag cleanup
10 a.m.: Closing ceremony
