The Pacific Northwest Chapter of The Recording Academy in conjunction with the Producers & Engineers Wing presents the 6th Annual Pacific Northwest Studio Summit presented by GC Pro at Experience Music Project.

The event features a keynote interview with Joe Chicarelli, producer and engineer for musical legends from Tori Amos to Frank Zappa, a conversation with producer Mike Clink known for his work with Guns N? Roses, Van Halen and Metallica and workshop, Mastering: The Mystical Science, by mastering legend Bernie Grundman whose worked on recordings by Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, The Carpenters and many, many others.

Other scheduled panels include a look at the all-important subject of today?s changing master delivery and archiving standards for digital recording featuring Steve Smith from Avastor Hard Drives and Rick Senechal from Microsoft Studios. Throughout the day, GC Pro will provide hands on demonstrations of some of the newest recording equipment.
