Grab a Slice of Summer at the 2006 Life is goodŽ Watermelon Festival on Boston Common

From seed spitting to melon bowling, the big slice eating contest and melon decorating, watermelons will take over the Boston Common on Saturday, July 8 for the 2006 Life is goodâ Watermelon Festival. Thousands are expected to convene on Boston Common as Life is good celebrates summer with great live music, classic backyard food, and a colorful mix-of good time games and activities for adults and children alike. The festival will benefit Project Joy, a Boston-based non-profit organization that brings powerful, healing play to Greater Boston?s poorest children.
Event is July 8, 2006 from 12-6pm and is FREE for all.
