WHAT:
The 2006 AVP Brooklyn Open presented by Cushman & Wakefield takes place on beautiful Coney Island in Brooklyn August 17th – 20th. Fans will have the opportunity to experience world-class beach volleyball in a beach-party atmosphere. Every tournament represents a fiercely pitched competitive battle amongst some of the fittest athletes in a lifestyle-charged environment.

WHO:
More than 150 of the top professional beach volleyball athletes including 2004 Olympic gold medalists Misty May and Kerri Walsh, 2004 Olympic bronze medal winners Holly McPeak and Elaine Youngs, and Rachel Wacholder. On the men’s side, three-time Olympic gold medal winner Karch Kiraly, 2004 AVP MVP Mike Lambert, Olympian Stein Metzger, 2005 AVP MVP Jake Gibb, 2005 Best Offensive Player Phil Dalhausser and 2005 Best Defensive Player Todd Rogers.
