hey there! come out to Jammin' Java, a hip little concert venue/coffee shop in Vienna, for an awesome community film festival--the 2005 Mid-Atlantic Film Festival! It's this Sunday at 5, and tickets are only 10 bucks! We are the ONLY all-volunteer film festival in Northern VA, designed to highlight local filmmakers.

This year we're featuring 9 short films by filmmakers in the DC-metro area, including an eight minute animation called Sub, directed by Fairfax native Jesse Schmal. The film has already won numerous awards and has aired on Showtime and the Sundance channel. The festival will be judged by Buzz McClain, dvd critic for Playboy Magazine/music critic for The Washington Post, and will include a talk by Eric Sommer, Executive Director of the Georgetown Film Festival. We'll end the night with a Q&A with filmmakers. Call (703) 255-1566 now for reservations!

Jammin Java is at 227 Maple Ave, Vienna, VA 22180.
