It will take 30,000 Jack-0-Lanterns to break the Guinness World Record, but that is exactly what Life is goodŽ hopes to do at Boston?s 3rd Annual Life is goodŽ Pumpkin Festival. The 2005 Life is goodŽ Pumpkin Festival will benefit Camp Sunshine, a national retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The event will run from 12:00 noon ? 8:00 p.m.

The Life is goodŽ Pumpkin Festival will feature festival activities suitable for all age groups. In addition to jack-o-lanterns, festival-goers will find great food, live bands and entertainment, a pie eating contest, a costume parade, face painting, magic shows, carving contests, and the Gargantuan Gourds Guessing Game.

Boston?s 2005 Life is goodŽ Pumpkin Festival is free of charge. All festival-goers are encouraged to bring a carved pumpkin and a votive candle or a pumpkin to carve at the Common. For more information, please visit www.lifeisgood.com or call 617-635-4505.
