The accumulated knowledge in cancer immunology and encouraging results from recent cancer immunotherapy clinical trials indicate that immune system plays an essential role in host defense against cancer and can be exploited for effective cancer therapy. However, the existing gap between laboratory and clinical investigators severely hampers the translation of fundamental discoveries into clinical applications. The main goal of this meeting is to provide a joint forum for leading basic researchers and clinical investigators in the fields of cancer immunology and immunotherapy that would serve to accelerate translation of basic research into effective treatment of cancer in children and adults.

Thus, the field of Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunomonitoring (CITIM) is of escalating significance. CITIM Conference allows scientists, clinicians, medical practitioners and specialists, students, R&D experts and patients to meet together and discuss the latest therapeutic, preventive and diagnostic developments in the field.

Objectives of the conference

Our goal is to advance the medical and biomedical immunological sciences and clinical practice via the organization of symposia, workshops, and training courses. We also provide an environment stimulating scientific discussions, exchange of ideas, and considering novel clinical diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. By providing Best Abstract, Travel and Clinical Scientist Awards, we specifically support creativity and uniqueness in order to inspire a strong basic research portfolio and achieve the rapid translation of insights gleaned from the research laboratories to the bedside worldwide. CITIM Conference is serving biomedical scientists and researchers, Primary Care physicians, medical residents and fellows, RN, medical technologists, postdoctoral fellows, medical and graduate students and everybody who is interested in recent developments in the fields of basic, clinical, laboratory and medical immunology.
