Official Meet in Honolulu Two Year Anniversary Happy Hour 3/11/07

Two years ago, a few of us gathered at On Stage for the first ever official MIH happy hour. Over the course of the past 24 months, we have been growing by leaps and bounds, and our happy hours keep getting bigger and better. The first year we only took up one table, but now we will take over the entire bar! We're going back to where we started so we can see how far we've come in the past 2 year. Bring your friends and let's make this the largest MiH happy hour yet!

Da REview

Honolulu Weekly Review(http://honoluluweekly.com/calendar/nightshift/2006/06/drinking-on-stage/)

Wouldnt it be nice to have a living room with a live band, dartboard, pool tables, big screen TVs and a full bar? Dave Young has one, and he loves house guests. Its called OnStage Drinks & Grinds, where you can chill out til you pass out any night of the week.

Play a game of pool, and no matter who wins, youve won yourself a new hoa aloha. Like I did. My new fast friend Elika gave me the standard Hawaiian handshake after I squeaked out a victory, and wanted to challenge me again.

If youre in an anti-social mood, theres a Megatouch at the bar, or three TVs to zombify you while you sample from the Maria Bonita menu (the club worked out a partnership with the restaurant). When theres no live music (generally Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday), karaoke and jukebox music are chock full of dance and sing-along tunes, be it Play That Funky Music White Boy, Mambo No. 5 or Patsy Clines Crazy.

DA PARKING:

Free Street parking on Date St. Metered Parking(until 5:30? free afterwards) along Kapahulu. Diamond Head Parking Lot(behind Pizza Hut across the street) for 2-3$ (30stalls). Safeway(1block away) has a big parking lot but beware. Paid lots at Banks next to shell across the street.
