First Time Home Buyers Seminar on May 26th

The Homeownership Center invites you to our FREE first time homebuyer seminar at the Oak Park Village Hall; so that we can help you get into the home of your dreams:

This event is open to anyone in the Cook County region.

Now is a great time to buy a home. Home prices have become more affordable and interest rates are low. Participants in this seminar will learn how they can benefit from low prices and historically low rates. They will also learn how to take advantage of:

• The IHDA’s Mortgage Credit Certificate,
• The federal $8,000 tax credit,
• The American Dream Down Payment Initiative, and
• Other first-time homebuyers programs.

In addition to the Homeownership Center’s staff, housing and lending professionals will be on hand to answer questions.

Roger Morsch, Director of Business and Product Development from the Illinois Housing Development Authority, a bank loan officer, and a Realtor, will provide professional advice on how you can take advantage of these opportunities to buy a home.
