1st Royal Anglian's Homecoming March November 8, 2012

Come and give a rousing welcome to the 1st Battalion (The Vikings) Royal Anglian Regiment on their homecoming march, to mark their Freedom of the Borough and their return from a fourth tour of duty in Afghanistan.
The 1st Battalion (The Vikings) Royal Anglian Regiment will march through Basildon town centre with bands playing, drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed, where they will be met by His Royal Highness, The Duke of Gloucester. His Royal Highness, a first cousin of the Queen, is Colonel in Chief of the Anglian Regiment and will inspect the troops following the march.
