1st Annual Alzheimers Memory Walk for Gallup and surrounding area. Emphasis on kids, adults, and seniors walking to raise money and increase awareness of Alzheimers and how to help those you love. Kids and grandparents-walk around the Ford Canyon Park for $5 each, Adults walk to Butlers and back $10 each, Teams $100+, Sponsors choose level of contribution (Name on T-shirts). Individual and Group Fundraising really needed. Please, Gallup, help raise funds or take a pleasant autumn walk for this important event, every tiny little bit helps. Gallup really needs information and awareness of Alzheimers Disease and how to help those we love that have been affected by this disease. Many school kids and grandparents stay with each other while the parents work. Kids need to know to not only make sure Grandma or Grandpa get a glass of water, but to actually help them drink it! Our future care is in the hands of children. Encouraging them to help is helping our future!
