1857 Mutiny walk - Delhi. Besides being a treat for nature lovers, the Northern Ridge has many historic sites: Circuit House, Flagstaff Tower , Chauburja, Pir Ghaib, Baoli, Bara Hindu Rao, Ashoka Pillar, Mutiny Memorial etc. This area comes alive with stories of the 1857 Mutiny and remains of hunting lodges, mosque and observatory from the sultanate period. Special permissions have been obtained from ASI and all these sites will be open for us to visit from inside. Join us and see how some of these sites have been restored by ASI.
