This gay parade is held to commemorate the 1969 formation of the first ever gay group. Every year on the first Saturday in November, there is a colorful gay parade in the city with festive banners and drag queens. The parade begins at Plaza de Mayo near the historic Casa Rosada and ends at Avenida de Mayo.
