17th Annual Lafayette Art & Wine Festival September 15, 2012

Enjoy the finest in continuous live music, arts, crafts, food vendors, premium wineries & microbreweries at the 17th Annual Lafayette Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 15 from 10am-7pm and Sunday, September 16, from 10am-6pm in downtown Lafayette. Free parking is available at the Lafayette BART station with free shuttles to/from BART. One of Contra Costa County's top five outdoor festivals; FREE ADMISSION!

With more than 275 arts and crafts booths, the festival features a "Local Artist Gallery" offering a unique variety of gifts and display pieces created by local and regional artists. At the Premium Wine Pavilion you'll find a selection of high-end wines offered by Wine Thieves wine purveyors. Plus the new addition of Craft Beer Land and Food Truck Land. The festival attracts name bands playing a continuous mix of jazz, blues and rock on three stages; enjoy music featuring The Sun Kings, Zebop, Who Too, Bob Athayde & Friends, Dominant 7, East Bay Mudd, Bautista, Bell Brothers, Red House Gang, Voltones, Redwing Bluegrass Band, The Spazmatics/80's tribute band, Dream Posse, Cover2Cover, Pat Kelley, Mersey Beach, Drastic Voodoo, Savanah Blue, Covers Cup Winners, Aja Vu and more.

This family-friendly event also features the "KidZone," complete with party jumps, games, arts, crafts and entertainment provided by Lamorinda youth bands at the end of each day.
