The 15th Annual Dolls of Color On Parade “Black Doll Show” will be Saturday and Sunday, December 16 & 17, 2006 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 16 Chestnut Street, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. There will be many black doll artist, black doll makers and vendors from across the United States with black dolls, doll accessories, doll furniture and doll related materials for sale. This is a unique opportunity for the public to meet and talk with doll artist and doll makers about their craft, and to purchase dolls for their collection and for holiday gifts. This the Greater Washington, DC area oldest African-American doll show. This is an educational event for the whole family. Show hours are 10am to 5pm. Admission is $5, and children 12 and under are admitted free. The show is all indoors and there will be good food and free parking. To reach the fairgrounds from Washington, DC take I-495 to the I-270 exit and then take I-270 to exit 11 and follow signs. For additional information contact L.
