14th Annual Veterans Day Dinner November 11, 2010

Swords to Plowshares (www.stp-sf.org), a community-based veteran service agency, will be hosting the 14th annual Veterans Day Dinner. For 36 years we have been helping all veterans overcome obstacles while transitioning from combat to community.

Each year the Veterans Day Dinner is our opportunity to share our work with the community and truly honor veterans who have endured obstacles and suffering, but who fought to restore their hope, dignity and self-sufficiency. The Veterans Day event is also a way for us to raise crucial funds for our exemplary programs which help more than 2,000 homeless and low-income veterans every year.

Please join us this Veterans Day, November 11, 2010, to gain an intimate look into the inspirational journeys of local veterans who have turned their lives around and shown tremendous courage in the face of adversity.
