14th Annual Kings Mountain Firehouse BBQ Cook-off Fri. 5pm, Sat. 2pm. The cook-off is for the North Carolina State Championship and sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) with the overall winner invited to the KCBS National Championship. The event will also help raise funds for the Kings Mountain Fire Museum, one of a few in the state, and its ongoing restoration of antique fire trucks.
