14th Annual Catalina Island Women's Forum Wine Festival September 26, 2009

Just steps away from Avalon's waterfront in the Pavilion Lodge courtyard, you can sample delicious varietals from up to 80 prestigious wineries, indulge in sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, and bid on unique and exciting items at its silent auction, all while listening to live music by popular local artist, guitarist James Moody.

Ticket price is $75, which includes a commemorative festival wine glass, food, entertainment, and, of course, the tasting of wines. You must be 21 years or older to attend.

This annual event is sponsored by Catalina Island Women's Forum, a 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing charitable services to women and children on Catalina Island, including Student Mentoring and Scholarship Programs for high school junior and senior girls, Women's Wellness and Domestic Violence Programs, and other community projects. Monies raised during this event, the organization's primary fundraiser, help to support these important programs.
