Ruth (from Famous Friends) and Jen (from MeanRed) have cooked up a monthly dance party that gives you JUST what you've been wanting: dance bands that just don't quit. Bands who make you want to dance longer, drive faster, live harder, and move through the world at your own rhythm laden pace. These are bands you'll want to take with you everywhere, bands you'll have a Crush on too.

Body Language: Straight out of Brooklyn's underground and armed with synths, vocoder, glockenspiel, percussion, and three graceful voices, Body Language is in demand at local events and parties. Body Language have served as Theophilus London's live back up band, have remixed Passion Pit and Machinedrum.

Color Radio: Hailing from Chicago and built on the talents of two brothers from Mexico City (Jonathan & Tohm Ifergan) Color Radio has an unmistaking talent for atmospheric riffs with an underlying pop sensibility, the scurrying bass (Joel Chasco) and rabid keys (Matt Thomas) provide the dramatic underbelly for the dreamlike world of Color Radio. With a track recently featured on MTV and after winning an opening spot for the MTV Choose or Loose tour with Locksley Color Radio is about to steal your heart.

Spirit Animal: The Gray Kid‘s “trunk-wobbling anthems and ballads of love and lust” have established him as one of independent music’s most dynamic and entertaining performers. Having spent 2008 developing SPIRIT ANIMAL, a five-piece made up of top-call musicians who have recorded and toured with Ben Harper, The Pharcyde and Oliver Future, Gray is poised to enter a new realm of soul and dance music that recalls the grit, intensity and tenderness of bands like The Doors, Stevie Wonder and LCD Soundsystem.
