11th International Scientific Days March 26, 2008

In the globalizing economy the competition exceeds the former regional borders and forces the adaptation of more and more widening sphere of entrepreneurs to the challenges of their environment. Enhancing and sustaining the competitiveness is of vital importance in the activity of small- and medium-sized enterprises like big companies too in the branches of industry, agribusiness, services and trade. The enterprises have to calculate with their specialties concerning the given branch, size, interests and locality, or their capital and workforce conditions, possibilities of innovation and cooperation and its management during their adaptation to the environmental challenges.

In this complex situation it is more than current to think through the position of developing and managing enterprises, its role and methods in forming the competitiveness. We organize our next International Scientific Days – which is already the 11-th of the range during the last decades – in this field as it is seen by the themes. It would be our pleasure if You and your associates interested in the topic would participate in the traditional national scientific conference of the field arranged biennially, which has already more than two decades.

We organize the poster section in the same setting and in accordance with our traditions we also plan to have a contracted section in the German language.

In our second notification we will inform you about the final section arrangement, the formal requirements for the preparation of the brief summary and the full theme of the presentations/posters, as well as the expected costs (participation fee, accommodation, board, specialists’ meeting).
