RAY CICCOLO’S CHARLES RIVER SAAB, VOLVO VILLAGE OF NORWELL AND BOSTON VOLVO VILLAGE SPONSOR 11TH ANNUAL SWEDISH CAR DAY
The Great Lawn of the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, will be the gathering place for an array of Saabs and Volvos for the 11th annual “Swedish Car Day.”
This year’s event features two guest speakers: Dave Burnham, who will display and discuss his 1971 Volvo 142 GT. The other speaker is Steven Wade, from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. “Swade,” as he’s known to SAAB enthusiasts, is largely credited with saving SAAB through his blog, www.saabunited.com
The Great Lawn of the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, will be the gathering place for an array of Saabs and Volvos for the 11th annual “Swedish Car Day”, sponsored by Ray Ciccolo’s Charles River Saab of Watertown, Volvo Village of Norwell and Boston Volvo Village of Brighton.
Every Swedish Car Day features a great variety of cars, from antiques to brand new models, from the completely original to the massively customized. There have been common cars, and some of the rarest Saab and Volvo models in existence. There is much to celebrate this year, with the future of both Saab and Volvo now secured in new ownership.
