Whether you have a tiny terrace or want to embark on an extravagant landscape project on a grand scale, are new to tropical gardening or an old hand, this event is for you as Flamingo Gardens & Wildlife Sanctuary celebrates its 11th Annual Spring Garden Event, on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25. The event showcases a fabulous variety of plants, trees, garden supplies, yard accessories and nature inspired art. Buy direct from the growers at great prices. Many give extra discounts to members and the general public during this show.

The best time to visit is in the afternoon. Less crowded, the expert growers from local nurseries will have more time to talk and answer all your questions. There is a wealth of information to be had on exciting new, rare, unusual and interesting plants and also how to care for the good old standards.

Sunday brings the fun benefit auction at 1 pm. All auction plants, art and garden accessories are donated, so 100% of the proceeds go to a special horticultural project for the Gardens. Bring your credit card and bid generously.

Special reduced admission is $12 for ages 12 and up, $5:50 for children 4-11, children under 4 are free. Enjoy all the garden attractions while you visit. Admission includes the event, all the botanical and animal exhibits, live Wildlife Encounter Shows and historic 1930s Wray Home. Food and beverages are available. Parking is always free.
