This Friday, 1/11: Chicago House of Blues!

Hip-hop meets afrobeat this Friday at House of Blues Chicago. Our good friend Fareed Haque kicks off the night at 9 p.m., followed by CAbP's performance with special guest emcees Adad Adad and Cap D from the All Natural Crew, as well as Que B.I.L.L.A.H.

If CAbP's hard-edged afrobeat doesn't keep you moving, then you're sure to shake your nyash as the Chicago Brickheadz command the dance floor with their gravity-defying breakdancing moves. CAbP dancers Tosha and Koya will show off the newest moves from Tosha's recent trip to West Africa. To top it off, master talking drummer T.J. Okulnola and live artist Chadwick will also be keep the sensory overload in high gear all night.

A portion of proceeds for the show will benefit the Kenyan Red Cross which has asked for $15 million to assist with helping 500,000 Kenyans suffering as a result of an uprising from recent elections. Learn more about the situation here: Kenyan Red Cross.
