Thirty years ago, Quito, capital of the Republic of Ecuador, opened the list of World Heritage Cities. In this jewel of colonial urbanism set in the midst of the Ecuadorian Andes, we protect and manage our Cultural Heritage with an enormous degree of responsibility.

During the last 8 years we have invested over 250 million dollars in the restoration and enhancement of our Heritage assets.
Those persons that will accompany us in September 2009, will have the opportunity of sharing with us important and diverse experiences in the field of the conservation of our heritage, especially those related to the recovery of our public spaces. But, in addition they will be able to enjoy a unique and captivating city under the unconditional hospitality of our inhabitants.
