10th Annual NWDSA Buddy Walk October 4, 2008

Dear Friends of the NWDSA,

The Northwest Down Syndrome Association is pleased to announce that registration for the 2008 NWDSA Buddy Walk is now open! We have implemented an on line registration program that will make preparing for the Buddy Walk and raising money much easier.

Please join us at the Buddy Walk this year on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the Rose Quarter Commons (One Center Court, Portland, OR 97227)! Participate as an individual, as a family or a large group. Registration fee is minimal. Registering is important for our records, and no one will be turned away if the registration fee is a burden.

To begin registering go to http://buddywalk.kintera.org/nwdsa.

Once registered, you will gain access to your Walk HQ. You will be able to use your Walk HQ to send our e-mails to your friends and family, and invite them to visit your page, walk with you or sponsor you online.

If you start a team, you can track your team’s progress at your Walk HQ and view your team roster.

Even if you can’t make it to the NWDSA Buddy Walk on Saturday, October 4th, you can still be a part of the Walk. Register as a virtual walker and join us in spirit. You can raise funds, and make a difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.

This program could not be easier, so do not be intimidated. If you would still like to register at the walk you can do that as well. We will soon have a pledge form available to download from our NWDSA Website.
