http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_fLgxTer4g, this band is one of the hottest around the happening Zydeco scene. At only 32 years old, Thierry is already a legend, an exceptional multi-dimensional musician who has a finely-honed ability to merge traditional Zydeco music with hip-hop, blues, jazz and rock. Building from his love and respect for traditional Zydeco, his original music is a blend of old and new. His musical mastery enables him to create a unique sound for his and future generations while staying true to the past.

In Zydeco Dance tradition, we start with free Zydeco Dance Lessons at 6pm with Ted Sherrod. When the band takes their break, Zydeco Ted will get you up on your feet again for another lesson.

Creole cuisine, beer & wine available for purchase. Doors open at 5:30.

Zydeco ("snap beans") is a form of American roots or folk music that evolved during the late 1800s from the multiracial French speaking Creoles of south and southwest Louisiana. Usually fast-tempo, and dominated by the button or piano accordion and a washboard known as a rub-board or frottoir, zydeco music was originally created at house dances where people gathered for socializing.
