751 Chartres Street
New Orleans, Louisiana

Some history can be found in the textbooks. However, the history of the Zulu Social Aide and Pleasure Club can only be passed down orally. Join us at the Louisiana State Museum to listen to the history of the infamous Zulu coconut. Find out why this treasure is one of the most sought after souvenirs on Mardi Gras day. Participants will decorate and design their own 2009 Zulu Coconuts. Reservations are required. Please contact the Louisiana State Museum at 504-568-7056.
