Zoo Miami and the SFAAZK are proud to present the inaugural exhibit “Savage,” featuring original pieces of art painted by Zoo Miami animals – tigers, elephants, birds, reptiles, and others. All proceeds from this art exhibit will fund animal conservation projects in and outside of Zoo Miami.

The event will take place at the Bakehouse Art Complex (BAC), 561 NW 32 Street, Miami, FL, 33127, Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 7 – 11 p.m. There will be a VIP reception for Zoo Miami and BAC members from 5 – 7 p.m.

Admission and secure parking are free. Not only will you be able to enjoy these one-of-a-kind paintings, but there will also be food trucks, a live band, a DJ, raffles, a silent auction, and wild encounters with animals from Zoo Miami. Additionally, artists whose studios are located in the art complex will open their galleries so you can admire their art and watch them at work.

When you purchase one of the pieces, not only will you have a unique, life-long topic of conversation, but you will be making a contribution to many important animal conservation projects.
