There are good reasons why snowboarding is growing in popularity among adults. It is fun, safe, and easy to learn. More importantly,
snowboarding is for all ages. Zephyr Camp Snowboard is a two-day camp designed to teach adults (and kids accompanied by an adult) to snowboard. Local Certified Instructors provide 6 hours of professional instruction. Absolutely no experience is necessary. The cost is $239 and includes 6 hours of instruction, two days of lift tickets, small group sizes and the free use of a helmet. Sierra-at-Tahoe is located south of Lake Tahoe and can be reached via Highway 50 from Sacramento. Driving times are two hours from either Sacramento or Reno and three hours from San Francisco. We will provide suggestions for places to stay in the area once you register if you prefer not to drive home on Saturday night.
