YPC presents its 14th annual “Spring Celebration: A Family Concert” at the 92nd Street Y (at Lexington Avenue). The Spring Celebration provides a preview of several pieces that the chorus will sing in its upcoming South American debut tour of Brazil and Argentina this summer. From jazz and Broadway show tunes to classical and the contemporary sounds of today’s leading composers, all five YPC divisions—the Prelude, Intermezzo, Cantare, Concert Chorus, and Young Men’s Divisions—will light up the stage individually before coming together, 325 voices strong, to close the program with a rousing finale.
